Friends call me Elke, Elk, and occasionally ElkNation. If I'm not cooking I am probably in class, or on a train to class. If it's not already apparent, food is my passion, but I also dabble in writing, music, and fashion.
My name and my passion are the two most important things you need to know about me, but just for fun I will tell you a few other things.
My favorite kinds of food are ones with lots of vinegar, so prepare yourselves for that. I also love sandwiches, especially those on bread from the bakery I work at, Crossroads Bake Shop, so be ready for pictures of beautiful bread. For four years of my life I was a vegetarian, but that was a few years ago, and I eat everything now. Everything. Except for maybe, like, cats and dogs. Which brings us to another fun fact: I love cats. Especially my kitten, Baz. Baz is short for Bruder Basil, which a smoked Bavarian cheese that was my favorite as a child. Due to his name and his coloring, we have taken to calling him "the cheese". Look at how cute my cheese is.
